teeth get?
In clinical studies, BriteSmile has

How long does it last?
Your teeth are as individual and unique as you are and, therefore, your
actual results may vary. However, in general, BriteSmile whitening results
can last up to 2 years assuming good hygiene and reasonable exposure to
staining foods or beverages.

Does it work on caps, veneers or bonds?
The BriteSmile professional teeth whitening treatment has been
successful at removing stains from caps, veneers or bonded teeth. However,
a whitening procedure in general cannot change the color of the caps,
veneers or bonds. We recommend that you discuss your situation with Dr.
McDonald to determine what you can expect.

Is it safe?
Yes. The primary ingredient in the BriteSmile gel is hydrogen peroxide,
which has been safely used in teeth whitening for over 100 years and is
recognized as an effective ingredient by the dental community.
The BriteSmite treatment has also been tested and found safe by
university researchers. Independent safety studies conducted by the
University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and reviewed by
researchers at New York University, found conclusively that the BriteSmile
treatment resulted in no structural change in teeth, no adverse impact on
fillings, and no softening in tooth enamel.

Will it hurt?
The BriteSmile teeth whitening process is normally completely painless.
A very small percentage of people may experience a minor dull ache
following the procedure. Taking an analgesic almost always resolves the
feeling. It is best to avoid very hot or very cold drinks for the first 24
hours if there is any tooth sensitivity.
